Must have

• Functional testing of web applications across UI and API layers
• API testing experience using Postman or similar tools
• Test automation experience using JavaScript or Python
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools
• SQL and database validation experience
• Strong communication skills with good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with test planning, test strategy, and quality management at a team level
• Experience building and maintaining test automation using multiple programming languages or frameworks
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of web applications across both UI and API layers, ensuring high-quality software delivery through comprehensive manual and automated testing
• Design, plan, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar coding agents to improve testing efficiency, automation, and overall engineering productivity
• Validate REST API functionality using tools such as Postman, verifying request/response payloads, business logic, and system integrations
• Create and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity, validate backend processes, and support end-to-end testing scenarios
• Monitor and report product quality throughout the development lifecycle, communicating testing progress, identifying risks, and proposing continuous quality improvements
• Collaborate closely with customer development teams in an agile environment, participating in daily discussions, requirement clarification, and defect triage
