Must haves

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Ability to build long-term client relationships. Fluent English.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager/Project Manager or within a similar role in an IT outsourcing environment.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Creative and entrepreneurial spirit, self-starter, and analytical thinker.
  • Deep understanding and compassion for users, ability to analyze and use data to inform decisions.
  • Experience working with remote / 3rd party team members in an Agile environment within globally distributed teams.
  • Proven track record of driving user growth and engagement through experimentation, preferably across multiple platforms (mobile and web).
  • Understanding the technical intricacies of the product and integration capabilities with other products on their portfolio.
  • Capability of developing a big-picture product strategy for meeting user needs, selling it, and then working out the details to get the plan over the finish line.
  • Understanding of how software development works and how best to interact with engineering and design teams.
  • Experience and understanding of Agile software development principles.

As a plus

  • Knowledge of project management principles and ability to own multiple products simultaneously.
  • Understand APIs, their usage, and their impact on platforms and ecosystems.
  • Experience with reading code, coding, or understanding data.
  • Atlassian suite (Jira, Trello, Bitbucket, Confluence) and Slack for team collaboration.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct discovery, user research, competitive analysis, etc., to develop product requirements and inform the roadmap.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end-users.
  • Drive product launches, including working with public relations teams, executives, and other product management team members.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of developers, QA, and BAs to successful delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Project Management - planning, executing, and leading projects while managing internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Client and Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, including clients, executives, and other departments. Communicate project progress, issues, and outcomes effectively, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product.
  • Prioritize, define, and oversee the development of new features, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Work closely with the engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure that product development aligns with the defined specifications and quality standards.
  • Address technical challenges, system outages, or performance issues, and collaborate with the engineering team to find and implement solutions.
