We are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead our quality assurance initiatives within a dynamic and complex software engineering environment. The ideal candidate will drive the test automation strategy across all layers of our applications, manage multifaceted testing processes with multiple dependencies, and continuously improve testing methodologies while effectively leading a skilled team of QA professionals.
Must haves:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in software test management, particularly in environments with multiple interdependencies.
- Deep expertise in test automation across various testing layers and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability in managing complex testing processes and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Able to convince the team and stakeholder to the ideas.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on technical leadership.
- Hands on QA background, preferably mixed manual and automation.
- Experience creating and executing test strategies and test plan.
- Upper-intermediate or Advanced English.
Nice to have:
- ISTQB Advanced Level (or equivalent)
- Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST) or CSTE
- Additional certifications in Agile or DevOps
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive test strategy covering manual and automation testing - unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing layers.
- Architect and manage end-to-end test processes in a complex environment with interdependent systems and services.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, DevOps, product management) to synchronize testing activities and mitigate risks.
- Lead the planning, execution, and reporting of test phases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
- Manage and mentor a team of test engineers and QA specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Continuously assess and enhance the testing process, leveraging metrics and industry best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements, driving the adoption of Agile and DevOps practices.
- Report testing progress, challenges, and quality metrics to stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define quality benchmarks and drive overall product excellence
